This is about understanding the full and complete story of our nation’s history, without any of the obfuscations or half-truths which have so often accompanied the issue of slavery.

I’m not sure what your point about the Jim Crow era is. You seem to have it backwards, however. As you correctly point out, the traditional rule under both slavery and Jim Crow was that anyone with appreciable African ancestry was classified as “black.”

By this standard, therefore, Barack Obama would have been “black” in 1808 and 1908 as well as 2008. Of course, mulatto was also a common term for a person of mixed race, although you seem to mean it as some sort of insult, or at least significant distinction.

The thing we all hear about many times from these victim perpetrators is about the bad old of the Jim Crow south where the rule was if your any part negro then you’re all negro and to the back the bus you go!

Now it seems though the Jim Crow rules are being used to determine that Barack Hussein Ombomber is negro! What you say?
